Philodendron Silver Cloud
Philodendron Silver Cloud earns its name from broad, heart-shaped leaves brushed with luminous silver. Deep green veins run through the metallic patterning, while the gently rippled foliage gives every leaf a beautifully textured finish.
This creeping Philodendron grows across the surface of its pot rather than climbing straight upward, creating a wide, architectural display as it matures. Give it bright indirect light and room to spread, and those silver markings become an irresistible feature.
| Position | Keep in bright to moderate indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the foliage. |
| Temperature | Prefers warm indoor conditions. Temperatures above 20°C encourage stronger growth; keep above 15°C. |
| Water | Water thoroughly, then allow the potting mix to almost dry before watering again. Be more cautious in cooler weather. |
| Fertiliser | Feed with a weak balanced fertiliser during spring and summer when the plant is actively growing. |
| Repotting | Repot once well established, using a loose, well-draining aroid mix and a pot that gives the creeping stem room to spread. |
| Pet Friendly | Philodendrons are not Pet Friendly |
