The Begonia masoniana Rock is a captivating, compact version of the iconic Iron Cross Begonia, cherished for its dramatic, bristly foliage. Its bright green, textured leaves feature a bold, dark brown cross pattern at their centre, surrounded by a striking red-brown border that amplifies its visual appeal. This smaller variant stays neat and manageable, making it perfect for tabletops or smaller indoor spaces.
In spring and summer, Rock may delight you with delicate pinkish-white flowers, adding a touch of elegance to its already unique charm.
NOTE: Our current stock of this plant displays small white spots of powdery mildew on some foliage (as pictured), caused by water droplets/humidity. This has been treated and is now purely cosmetic, new growth will emerge healthy and unaffected.

| Temperature | Temperatures above 20 degrees will speed up growth. Keep temperatures above 12 degrees or may cause leaves to rot. |
| Water | Water well if kept in pots but sparingly in terrariums; potting mix must be allowed to almost dry between waterings. |
| Fertiliser | Only fertilise if you would like the plant to grow larger. Lack of fertiliser will keep the plant shorter and more compact. |
